Chalet Dibona in La Villette really is the perfect setting for a special family ski holiday. Surrounding your catered ski chalet the olde worlde village is complete with goats, chickens and all the rustic charm you’d expect from a truly French Alpine village, all just three minutes from one of Europe’s most modern and extensive ski areas.
Dibona itself is part of an old converted French farmhouse, the likes of which few remain. With its homely touches and cosy feel, you’re home from home the minute you step inside.
Your chalet host will prepare fresh breakfasts for you in the mornings, make afternoon tea daily and serve the children a healthy and filling dinner whilst you soak up the last of the evening sun on your private terrace. They will then seat you for the highlight of the evening - a superb 4 or 5 course evening extravaganza on 6 of the 7 nights.
Throughout your stay you will be able to take full advantage of the services of our team of Reps and your very own La Villette Rep in that sense Dibona is very much still a Vaujany ski chalet.

- Your live-out chalet host will wake you up gently with the scent of freshly baked pastries and baguettes. Coffee, cereal and eggs to accompany and you’re set to go!
- Retrieve your skis from the heated boot room next door and board your private shuttle. Your Rep will have cleared the pathways of snow and can up-date you on all the latest snow news on the three minute drive to the lift station.
- Drop the kids at ski school, or if they are older, bring them to meet up with your guides – experts at finding the best snow and the best restaurants.
- Ski back to La Villette or down to Vaujany from where we’ll be happy to pick you up and drive you home. Back in the Chalet relax with homemade afternoon tea, enjoying the sunshine and superb views.
- Let your kids burn off any remaining energy in the enclosed chalet garden– the perfect venue for snowmen! Or have your rep drive you to the excellent Vaujany swimming and gym complex.
- Early evening - enjoy a traditional French aperitif by the wood fire while your chalet host serves supper for the children.
- The evening meal is a delight - 4 or 5 courses expertly conjured up, paired with French wines, the crackle of the fire place and a beautiful setting. Family Ski Holiday defined!
