The first lesson i learned on a snowboard trip was that those long underwears are an essential thing! After that, chains on a rented car and snowclothes rentals. Once you are equipped, try going on the "easy even for kids" side and spend a few minutes there, even if you have already snowboarded before. These lovely condos are top quality, comfortable and lie just yards from central Whistler. Separated by pleasant walkways, pools and landscaped gardens the Stoney Creek complex comprises three separate properties � the Lagoons, Sunpath and Northstar. These are all very similar, with many units either having private hot tubs or access to the central pool and hot tub (some units carry a supplement).

All the buildings are recently built, very attractive and small in scale with every single unit having the excellent advantage of private exterior entrance. There is at least one underground parking spot for every unit. It is about six minutes walk to the ski base or a free shuttle stops right outside. The pedestrian zone is just a short two minute stroll away.

Accommodation: Self catering. Studios have queen, TV/VCR, gas fire, washer/dryer, kitchen and bathroom. Cleaning/linen change is usually weekly, towels every three days. All are individually furnished and bedding will vary. Two bed units have a sofa bed in the lounge. Three bed units have an extra bathroom. One bed units also available.
