CREEKSIDE
This area is known as the ski in-ski out ‘Family Friendly Whistler Neighbourhood’ & will be home to the finish line of many of the 2010 Olympic events. It lies at the bottom of the Dave Murray Downhill run & is on the site of the the original development of Whistler, founded back in the 1960s. Only ten minutes by bus from the main Whistler village, Creekside has seen some exciting changes in the last few years. Many visitors who are returning to Whistler know that it is close enough to all the action in the village to still be convenient, but far enough away to be able to escape it at will.
The Creekside Gondola serves Whistler Mountain, and is considered a local favourite. Never as crowded as the Village gondola, the Creekside Gondola whisks you up Whistler Mountain to give you quick & easy access to great powder skiing!
With its own ski school meeting point, childcare facilities, rental shops, a full grocery market, liquor store, bank, several restaurants & coffee shops, you’ll find everything you could want in Creekside.
