
One of the quickest ways to ruin a fun day skiing is to feel cold to very cold. It helps to not only dress warmly (multiple layers) and use clothing that "wicks away" moisture to keep you dry but also to have items that "warm up". These include packets that when exposed to air heat up and remain warm for hours. They are perfect for both feet and hands and work terrific. If your extremities are kept warm the rest of you can stay warm (opposite is true if you're overheated)and you're not so uncomfortable with fingers and toes hurting.
