Accommodation records for resort:
This is eastern Canada’s leading resort and pretty sister to the Intrawest-developed Whistler in the west. Oozing with French influence, multi-coloured buildings cluster around narrow cobbled streets and squares which host numerous brasseries, bars, restaurants and galleries.
Constantly voted No.1 Resort in Eastern North America in the influential Ski Magazine survey, Tremblant is one of the most easily accessible North America ski resorts from the UK. This unique slope side resort in the Laurentian Mountains captures all the warm hospitality of Canada, enriched with the culture, colour and 'joie de vivre' of Quebec's French heritage. The traffic free, colourful resort centre offers a fantastic range of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants ranging from pizza to traditional French cuisine. The village offers easy access to the ski areas four faces, which offers terrain for all abilities.

The Skiing
Even after repeatedly being voted the number one ski resort in the east, Tremblant continues to make significant improvements - new last year was the Versant Soleil adding over 20% to the skiing in one fell swoop. If you are also looking for snow quality and quantity look no further - the state of the art Avalanche system is the best in Canada. Skiing convenience is superb with the vast majority of the accommodation being virtually ski in - ski out. The lifts radiate from near the heart of the resort with all the children’s and nursery slopes right there at hand. Families and beginners will find the facilities close to perfection. Modern high-speed lifts whisk you around the system where intermediates and better will find a choice of roller-coaster cruising and attractive glades. These wind down from the impressive peak of Mt Manitou to all points of the compass and you can enjoy playing follow-the-sun throughout the day! With over a third of the mountain classed as advanced even the best skiers will find much to keep them busy. On the newly extended north side there are several long top to bottom bump runs, numerous blacks including the steepest run in the east and also some impressive tree skiing.

Beginners
With its own dedicated beginners area on the South Side of the mountain and two magic carpet lifts, beginners will be able to learn here totally at ease.

Intermediates
Grooming is superb and prepares the snow for perfect cruising on runs like Beauvallon, Ryan and Devil's River.

Advanced
Try the super steep glade skiing on The Edge, as well as terrain under the Flying Mile Express, which compliments old favourites like Dynamite.

Snowboarding
One of the largest riding areas in Canada, offering some amazing terrain. Free riders have plenty to explore with trees and powder in the Emotion area and a huge terrain park complete with Olympic size super pipe.

Family

Après Ski
This is one of the most charming resorts that you will ever find. Lined by traditional style buildings in vibrant colours a network of pedestrianised cobbled streets lies at the heart of village that has been built in the style of Vieux Tremblant nearby. Here there is a wide choice of welcoming bistros and fine restaurants - all very friendly and with a very French feel. The centre buzzes with life après-ski and there are also plenty of bars that offer a quieter drink. Other off-slope activities are numerous and include the health centre with pool and waterslides built to resemble a forest lake. There are sleigh rides, snowmobiling and ice-skating whilst the cosmopolitan city of Montreal makes a fascinating excursion.
