Accommodation records for resort:
Also aptly named “The Jewel of the Rockies”, the majestic beauty of this area will take your breath away. Located within the glorious Banff National Park, the surroundings are spectacular, and if you have always dreamed of unspoilt wilderness scenery and dry powder, then pay a visit to Lake Louise it really is beautiful!
the skiing
A world-class ski resort in a World Heritage site is a rare combination and the result is a satisfying and effective blend of wilderness and comfort. Located in the heart of Banff National Park, the backdrop is essential to the superior skiing experience for which the resort is famous.

advanced
Rocky Mountain powder, “Steep n deep”, giant bumps or endlessly smooth, stylish cruising, Lake Louise has it all, and lots of it! The huge back bowls are world-renowned, there are World Cup downhill runs to enjoy and because waiting at lifts is virtually unheard of, there’s more time to spend skiing this spectacular mountain.

intermediate
With four massive mountain faces to explore, Intermediate skiers will have the time of their lives. There’s everything from smooth cruising runs on the Larch area to the challenge of the Black Bowls and the big bumps on Ptarmigan and Raven, fantastic to ski as a mixed ability group.

beginner
Not only are the slopes gentle, the instructors are friendly, but the Lake Louise ski school offers a beginners guarantee that if you are not skiing by the end of your first day, you will receive an additional lesson free of charge!

family
The childcare on offer in Lake Louise is always highly praised.

snowboarding
Terrain for everyone, good pistes, back bowls and even long tree runs, ideal for any budding snowboarder. The Purple Bowl offers freeriders a good mix of extreme and easier riding and Evian Fun Park provides entertainment for freestylers. Top tuition is available for the beginners amongst you.

apres ski
There is a fantastic variety of excellent hotel bars, also worth checking out are the Glacier Saloon, The Outpost and the Explorer’s Lounge.
