Kimberley also offers night skiing, snowshoeing, hockey, curling, ice-skating, and snowmobiling, as well. The Kimberly Alpine resort is the most accessible of resorts in western Canada, being approximately 90 minutes from Fernie and three hours from Banff.

Kimberley’s slopes lie in a perfect catchment area for powder, and snow stays light and dry for days, especially in the quiet, gladed black runs. Kimberley recently increased its snowmaking ability by boosting its water supply and adding four new snow guns.
advanced
For the advanced skiers there is a good variety of difficulty levels, with about 30% of the trails rated as advanced. There is also 16 miles of trails for cross-country skiers. The Easter Bowl on the backside is a haven for the more adventurous, with steep fall line runs, big moguls and long lasting powder stashes.
intermediate

There is plenty of "off-the-beaten track" opportunities abound for floating in and out of glades, exploring, experimenting and adventuring.
beginner
For beginners, around 25% of the trails here are ideal. There is also an exclusive area for beginners. The front side of the mountain is well suited for the beginner and novice snow enthusiasts who enjoy long wide-open trails that are groomed to perfection.
family
Kimberley is a great destination for families. Full day-care facilities are available for children between the ages of 18 months and 12 years old. A KidzRule Evening Program offers different activities every evening. The Ski and Snowboard School gives group and private lessons for adults and children in a fun environment.

apres ski
The resort is just a little uphill from the town making it easy to enjoy après-ski activities in the town centre. Restaurants range from the pine log décor of Kelsey’s Bar and Grill to a self-serve cafeteria. Shops sell clothing and accessories as well as unique gifts.
