the impressive hand hewn logs that accent the building's exterior and lobby create the spectacular ambience of this mountain lodge. in addition to the spacious lobby and lounge area, the caribou lodge also boasts a superb après-ski bar and restaurant – the keg steakhouse. recreational facilities include the red earth spa, a huge whirlpool, steam room, and an exercise room.


the free regular town shuttle stops outside reception. the regular free ski shuttle picks up from the central banff downtown hub.


all of the 200 guest rooms are well furnished and most have wonderful views of the surrounding rocky mountains. bedroom amenities include hair dryer, coffee maker, telephone and satellite tv.
