The ski resort of Pamporovo is a small, picturesque town offering the perfect haven for complete first timers and cautious beginners. The main hub of the resort where much of the the accommodation and restaurants are situated are a short shuttle bus ride away from the slopes.
The runs wind down from the top of the pistes at a height of about 1925m, with the resort itself sitting at 1600m. From the top of the Snezhanka Mountain, runs of all levels can be found, but towards the bottom of the slopes is where the majority of beginners stick.

In the ski resort of Pamporovo, intermediate skiers will feel at ease with the long, red slopes towards the top of the pistes. However if you have skied lots of times before and need some more difficult runs or want to practice on more challenging terrain, then Pamporovo can be quite limiting.

If you are an advanced skier who enjoys the thrill and excitement surrounding difficult black runs and off piste skiing, you may find this resort doesn’t hold many options for you. There is one tricky black mogul run called ‘The Wall’ which will test your skills, however that’s about it.

For snowboarders, Pamporovo can be a good choice as wide open runs provide smooth terrain for some easy, gentle snowboarding. There aren’t many places to go to practice jumps or do some more difficult snowboarding, but for a laid back snowboarding holiday the ski resort of Pamporovo provides plenty of easy runs. |
