Accommodation records for resort:
Pamporovo is a friendly, purpose-built resort, which offers a range of beautifully scenic runs on the Snezhanka mountain. It is well known for its ski-school, excellent for first timers, an efficient lift system and a free shuttle bus linking everything together. The atmosphere is always fun with a varied nightlife and excellent value prices, so you can enjoy a great all round skiing holiday without breaking the bank.

Pamporovo ski resort information

The ski resort of Pamporovo is a small, picturesque town offering the perfect haven for complete first timers and cautious beginners. The main hub of the resort where much of the the accommodation and restaurants are situated are a short shuttle bus ride away from the slopes.

The runs wind down from the top of the pistes at a height of about 1925m, with the resort itself sitting at 1600m. From the top of the Snezhanka Mountain, runs of all levels can be found, but towards the bottom of the slopes is where the majority of beginners stick.

Accommodation in Pamporovo that we offer is typically mid-range, with lots of half board hotels and self catered apartments, great for families, groups or couples alike.

Après ski in the ski resort of Pamporovo

If the Après ski is just as important to you as the skiing, then Pamporovo perhaps shouldn’t be your first choice. There are a limited number of restaurants to choose from, and only a small selection of bars and discos.

Activities off the slopes in the ski resort of Pamporovo

All the typical off slope activities are available in this resort such as snowmobiling, skating and ten pin bowling. Some hotels also have their own swimming pools.

Beginners skiing in the ski resort of Pamporovo

For those taking their first ski lessons here, you will find that the gentle sheltered slopes offer a good location to learn the basics. Ski schools are English speaking, and you will be able to easily progress to some higher and longer slopes towards the end of your stay.

Intermediates skiing in the ski resort of Pamporovo

In the ski resort of Pamporovo, intermediate skiers will feel at ease with the long, red slopes towards the top of the pistes. However if you have skied lots of times before and need some more difficult runs or want to practice on more challenging terrain, then Pamporovo can be quite limiting.

Advanced skiing in the ski resort of Pamporovo

If you are an advanced skier who enjoys the thrill and excitement surrounding difficult black runs and off piste skiing, you may find this resort doesn’t hold many options for you. There is one tricky black mogul run called ‘The Wall’ which will test your skills, however that’s about it.

Snowboarding in the ski resort of Pamporovo

For snowboarders, Pamporovo can be a good choice as wide open runs provide smooth terrain for some easy, gentle snowboarding. There aren’t many places to go to practice jumps or do some more difficult snowboarding, but for a laid back snowboarding holiday the ski resort of Pamporovo provides plenty of easy runs.
