Kopaonik ski resort information
Serbia’s main ski resort Kopaonik offers a cheaper alternative to a holiday in the Alps and is almost always bathed in sunshine, making it very scenic. On Serbia’s biggest mountain, more than 60km of runs are here, some as high as 2017m, while the resort itself sits at 1770m.
Kopaonik is a purpose built resort, and although sunny, boasts good snow conditions throughout the height of the season. It’s mainly suited to beginner skiers, or those who simply enjoy gliding down easy runs taking in the views.
A range of lifts serve the slopes here, including double chair lifts, some new quads and draglifts. Lift passes are quite cheap compared to those in the Alps, so for a budget or perhaps first time ski holiday this resort could be ideal.
