a first class hotel in the centre of zell am see, run by the friendly horl family who have built up an excellent reputation for outstanding hospitality and superb cuisine.

the original building "zum metzgerwirt" dates back to the 17th century and has been lovingly restored over the years with the latest major development being the addition of a wonderful indoor swimming pool connecting to a heated outdoor pool. ~there is even a private garden sauna you can rent.

the hotel is only a few minutes walk from the zeller gondola and the ski bus stops 100 metres away.

a popular meeting place after a day on the slopes is the comfortable rustic pine-panelled house bar and lounge with its open fireplace.
