| Julies Haus, St Anton, Austria |
Julie's Haus has proved to be a very popular chalet over the previous five seasons, attracting many returning guests and offering good value for groups. Situated in a tranquil and pretty location and built by the owner Benni about eight years ago, he put a lot of thought into the design. The chalet offers a lovely standard of accommodation throughout and is very spacious. All of the roomy comfortable bedrooms are en-suite, most are traditional twins as opposed to Austrian twins and most have a balcony too, they also benefit from hairdryers and televisions. There is a large bright, open plan living/dining room and a big bonus is the open fireplace (very rare for St Anton!) with cosy sitting area around. The chalet also boasts a large relaxation area with sauna, perfect for relaxing at the end of the day.
Easily accessible to the slopes and resort centre via the free ski bus which stops a couple of minutes away and most guests make life even easier and take advantage of the ski/board storage at our rental shop close to the central lifts (free storage if rented, €3-4/night if your own equipment). Don't forget to enjoy the legendary après ski at the Krazy Kanguruh or Mooserwirt!! - both are slope side around 5/10 minutes away so you can always end the ski day here and walk back to the chalet or ski down to the resort centre and take the bus. The Hotel Mooserkreuz is just a couple of minutes away for a relaxing drink or you can stroll down to the resort centre in around 15/20minutes.

Vital ingredients for a good holiday Good quality ingredients and imaginative menus are the basis for our chalet cuisine. Whilst it is impossible to "please all of the people all of the time" we do our best to present varied and appetizing menus that the majority of guests will enjoy. Chalet holidays are always about good skiing, good company and good food. The resorts we go to provide the good skiing, our staff provide the good food and so it is just down to you to provide the good company! Breakfast Our chalets and chalet hotels offer a buffet selection of cereals, fresh fruit and yoghurts, freshly baked local bread and jams accompanied by fruit juices, tea and coffee. In addition there is either a daily cooked option such as scrambled egg and tomato or continental-style breakfast (meats/cheese platter, boiled eggs) served each day apart from the chalet staff day off and change over day. For the traditional skiers amongst you we can of course offer porridge on request! Afternoon Tea Invite your friends back to your chalet to discuss the day's skiing while enjoying delicious home-made cakes or biscuits, bread and jam and piping hot tea and chocolate to keep you going until dinner. Dinner Dinner commences at 8 p.m. giving you plenty of time to rest aching muscles and recouperate before your meal is served. The three course meal (with a vegetarian alternative if preference is stated at time of booking) is served with house wine and followed by coffee. Our Chalet staff always aim to please and as much as possible will adapt their menus to your specific tastes and dietary requests however we cannot provide vegan, kosher or gluten free meals and cannot guarantee a nut free environment. Children's Supper We provide a child friendly supper at around 6pm for all children under 12years, if you have sole use of a chalet and you would prefer your children to eat a normal dinner with you at 8pm there is a £30 upgrade. For those in a shared chalet it is generally expected that under 12s would have the early supper. |
