Chalet Christophorus proved hugely popular with its guests over the past two seasons, not least for its rarity value - at the time of going to press, this is still the one and only catered chalet for adult guests in the whole of this superb resort!

Set in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main street, within easy walking distance of the village centre, and right on the slopes at the foot of the imaginatively named No 6 Blue run, the Christophorus is one of the best located chalets in the Alps! For added convenience, the beginners ski area is just behind the chalet and the ski-school meeting-point, a mere 50m away.

Just 30m from the ski-room door, you can put your skis on and ski down to the main Festkogl gondola, and then ski back right to the chalet at the end of the day. Or, if you wanted to start from the village centre, the regular free ski-bus stops just 50m from the chalet.

The bedrooms are all well appointed, comfortable and attractively styled, most with their own private en suite bath and separate wc, and several with balcony or terrace.

The dining-room on the first floor is traditionally styled with light wooden fixtures, and there is a traditional Tyrolean tiled stove to add ambience and warmth to your chalet dining experience. A small separate lounge offers a quiet spot to read or chat over the day’s skiing, and the sauna and relaxation area are an added bonus for unwinding after a busy ski day.

Supplements per person per night: En suite bath/wc £2.95; En suite bath/wc/balcony or terrace £3.95; Suite 33 when only 2 sharing £6.95. The owners have a private apartment on the first floor and a room on the ground floor.

Children in chalet... Please note that on non school holiday dates children under the age of 13 may not be permitted unless the group have taken booked the whole chalet. Please also note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge.
