This attractive family chalet was an instant hit with guests last year. Its location is absolutely ideal, being close not only to our popular Chalet Verwall, which houses the resort’s Snow Club, but within a mere minute or two’s walk of the nearest piste and the main Festkogl gondola-lift, giving speedy access up into the heart of the Obergurgl ski area.

The original chalet building houses the majority of the bedrooms and two suites, all furnished in traditional Tyrolean style, and all with their own private en suite facilities. The chalet’s new wing, internally linked, includes the owner’s private apartment and three modern guest apartments, offering ideal family accommodation. Each has a downstairs lounge, with the bedrooms above, reached by an internal staircase.

The main building also offers traditional Austrian style communal areas, including an entrance lobby with reception desk, a small lounge with a log fireplace and an additional cosy ‘snug’ lounge. The dining-room (possibly a touch tight at breakfast if all families attend at once!) is delightfully clad in Tyrolean knottypine panelling and its charm and ambience lends itself to convivial dinners with good wine, tasty food and lively conversation.

The pairs of rooms shown are either adjacent to or opposite each other, but are NOT interconnecting. Room numbers have changed since 2008/09 so if you require specific rooms please talk to our Reservations Team who have all the details/ All rooms and suites will take a cot. Children in chalet... Please note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Breakfast A good breakfast is essential on a ski holiday, so we provide a choice of cereals or porridge, fruit juices, plentiful tea and coffee, local bread (and croissants or ‘pains au chocolat’ in France), cold meats, cheeses and preserves, and boiled eggs. This is normally presented buffet-style for you to help yourself. Afternoon Tea The traditional ‘welcome home’ after a day on the slopes will be laid out for you by your chalet host, ready for your return. A good cup of tea or coffee is the perfect accompaniment to a delicious slice of freshly home-baked cake. Children’s High Tea Served at around 5.30pm and supervised by our staff, high tea provides children under 13 with a healthy menu, but tailored more towards children’s tastes than our main adult dinner. Adult Dinner Our four-course chalet dinners start with canapés and an aperitif, followed by an appetiser, main course and dessert, accompanied by a choice of wines, and followed by coffee with mints or chocolates. This operator is happy to cater for vegetarians and other special dietary requirements – please advise us at the time of booking, and on your Booking Form. Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge. Great child care on offer with small ski classes for children. Highly recommended for skiers with young children as excellent child care is available from £195 per child for 6 full days care including lunch. Call our team for full details.
