The Sonneck occupies one half of a beautiful traditional style building, with its own heated indoor swimming-pool, sauna and jet-shower, spacious lounge and residents' bar. Good food is a priority, with varied dinner options provided on our 'Culinary Choice' menu.

There is a lovely wood-panelled dining-room, with spectacular views over the village, fronted by a superb sun-terrace -  a favourite spot for watching the sun go down, with your chosen apres-ski drink.

The candle-lit bar with its old wooden beams is a lovely spot for apres-ski drinks or an after-dinner party, and the cheapest in town! You can also relax in the spacious lounge area or the 'Walserstube' room.

Access to the main lifts and resort centre about 1500m away is easy. A free daytime bus service runs, almost from the door, every 20 minutes until 7.20pm, after which the 'James' taxi-bus runs every 30 minutes at a flat rate of about £2.90 per person.

Situated at the northern edge of Lech, in quiet, secluded Stubenbach, the Sonneck offers well-fitted bedrooms, all of which have  en suite facilities, and many have local TV and balcony or terrace.

The resort centre and lifts are about 1500m away, but access is easy. A free bus service runs almost from the door every 20 minutes until 7.20pm. Thereafter a taxi/bus runs every 40 minutes.

Occasionally we have an additional separate 2-bedroom apartment for up to 5 people

Children in chalet... Please note that on non school holiday dates children under the age of 13 may not be permitted unless the group have taken booked the whole chalet. Please also note that Children under the age of 13 will only be served high tea and will not be permitted to dine with the adults. High teas are served at 5:30 as the main evening meal for children under 13. Children 13 or older will dine with the adults normally at around 20:00 to 20:30 each evening (except on chalet staffs night off)

Please note that the tour operator for this holiday will make a charge of £35 per person per week for any special dietary requirements. These include Vegan meals, Gluten Free low fat or Cholesterol meals. For any other recognised special diet e.g. kosher - please refer to our Reservations team. Vegetarian meals can always be served at no additional cost, though we do need 14 days notice. Other special diets can often be provided but must be discussed with our reservations staff before booking and may incur an additional charge". For general requests such as 'no tomatoes' or 'no cheese' etc there is of course no additional charge.
