Half board hotels in Formigal dominate, and offer great bases to access the ski slopes, with most served by a ski bus to the lifts. The ski school in Formigal is well run, and snow conditions, being at an altitude of 2200m, are generally good, but if not then over 100 snow cannons are spread across the ski area when needed.
