Canillo ski resort information
The ski resort of Canillo is a small, quiet resort in the Grandvalira ski area. Situated at a height of 1500m, this resort only has a few runs. However it does have an 8 person chairlift giving easy access to the vast array of pistes and runs throughout the Grandvalira area.
Accommodation in Canillo that Ski Line offers is limited and quite basic, with the option of half board hotels or self catered apartments. If you’re looking for a budget ski holiday with plenty of runs of varying levels to explore, it’s a great place to stay.
In the resort most things are usually within easy walking distance to wherever you stay, including the main chairlift to the slopes. No transport should be needed within the resort, but if you fancy a trip to neighbouring Soldeu or El Tarter, then a ski bus service runs a few times a day to take you between the resorts.
The ski resort of Canillo is one of great charm, boasting old churches and mountain houses traditional to the region. Being in the Pyrenees it also means this resort is mostly sunny and with good snow conditions, so skiing here is pleasant.
