We would not dare attempt to offer Courchevel skiers a ski holiday in Romania, as frankly the two are complete different ends of the spectrum.
Romania sells mainly on price. It's an ideal destination for complete beginners to try out skiing for the first time at an absolute minimum cost.
Prices in resort are remarkably low so you can enjoy good nights in bar and clubs without adding too much to the overall holiday cost.
Skiline features the best resort in Romania called Poiana Brasov.
It's very limited skiing, so if you're the kind of skier who likes to cover miles, you will hate it here! But the 12km are ideal for first time skiers.
The locals are friendly and it's well worth visiting beyond the ski resorts.
