the skiing
One hundred and fifty nine kms of slopes are connected by 49 lifts that stretch all the way from Hippach right up to the Glacier that towers over Hintertux. These slopes, naturally enough, provide skiing for all standards of skiers, from total beginner to the best of the weekend crowd regions in the alps.

advanced
There are tricky routes down to the Penken Mountains to Schwendau and through the trees from the Ahorn. The Horberg ski area also offers a number of exciting long runs like the challenging Schafskopf mogul run.

intermediate
The Ziller valley is an intermediate’s paradise with over 350km of piste. The Penken, Mayrhofen’s intermediate mountain, offers red runs galore and is served by one of the most modern gondolas in Austria.

beginner
The skiing in Mayrhofen is without doubt, superb. Beginners start at the top of the Penken Mountain with a variety of gentle slopes at over 1800m.
