| At Ski Line we are huge fans of La Tania, we love the Three runs down to the village one of which was recently voted best run in the 3-valleys, a blue and red run and more recently a new green run cuts through the trees to the village. Many of the chalets offered by us are ski in ski out. |
La Tania is in the heart of a pine forest and is a true ski from the door resort! Perfectly located between Courchevel and Meribel, La Tania gives you immediate access and undoubtedly the best value base for skiing the “Three Valleys” whilst snow cannons ensure that the runs back to resort are good right throughout the season.
the skiing
The slopes are linked into the fabulous three valleys area. Access out of the village is via a gondola with just 2 lifts needed to get you onto the slopes above Courchevel or Meribel.
advanced
Expert skiers will be fully tested with all the outstanding skiing opportunities available; endless off-piste trails, wicked mogul fields and plunging tree-lined descents.
intermediate
Keen skiers will relish the limitless number of exciting challenges that are available to those based in La Tania. There is an ultra-modern gondola to whisk skiers up to the pistes of Courchevel 1300 or 1850 and a chairlift which links up with Meribel, giving access to the vast 600kms of runs of the Three Valleys network.
beginner
For beginners and children there are small, gentle nursery slopes and a free nursery draglift at the foot of the ski-lifts and also a number of easy blues to attempt higher up in the Courchevel valley.
family
The perfect base for families, the centre of the village is car free and accommodation is never too far to the slopes, if not ski in/out. We have a number of excellent chalets with in house crèches – speak to us for more details.
snowboarding
La Tania has enough terrain to keep everyone smiling; challenging steeper runs for freeriders, a snowboard park for freestylers plus ome great terrain for beginners to make their first turns.
apres ski
Even though the après ski is limited the bars that serve La Tania do a very good job with places such as the Ski Lodge and the Farcon Bar having Murphy’s on draught; frequent live bands; dancing and themed nights. There are a small handful of restaurants. There is also a sauna, plunge pool and small gym in the hotel Montana – which is a good 3 star hotel at the bottom of the slopes.
